The Milesight UC511 is a rugged, solar-powered LoRaWAN solenoid valve controller designed to remotely manage DC latching valves in harsh outdoor environments in real time. Built for smart agriculture, landscape irrigation, and garden irrigation systems, it delivers reliable long-range data transmission up to 15 km line of sight using the LoRaWAN protocol – ideal for farm, estate, and utility deployments across Africa.
Unlike battery-only devices, the UC511 is powered by an embedded solar panel paired with 2 × 2550 mAh rechargeable ICR18650 batteries – delivering continuous, self-sustaining operation without manual battery replacement. A true fit-and-forget solution for sun-exposed outdoor deployments where long-term operation and zero maintenance are non-negotiable.
A single controller. Complete valve control: The UC511 controls two DC latching solenoid valves simultaneously via a single wall or pole-mounted unit – giving farmers, irrigation managers, and field operators full remote open/close control without multiple devices, complex wiring, or on-site intervention.

IP68 rated, embedded solar panel + 2 × 2550 mAh rechargeable batteries. Supports Milesight D2D for gateway-free direct device control. Ideal for open-field deployments with good sun exposure and network coverage.
UC511 (EA) – External Antenna: Solar-powered LoRaWAN solenoid valve controller with external SMA antenna connector. Controls 2 × DC 12V latching valves, 2 × GPIO inputs for flow/status monitoring. IP68 rated, embedded solar panel + 2 × 2550 mAh rechargeable batteries. Supports Milesight D2D. Ideal for deployments in areas with challenging signal conditions, dense vegetation, or structural obstructions.
Additionally, the EA version supports DC 5–24V wired power via M12 connector – providing a hardwired power option for permanent installations near infrastructure.
Both variants share identical solenoid control capabilities, IP68 protection, and LoRaWAN connectivity.
